Made For Forever

~ I received no compensation and opinions are 100% my own or my family. ~

Never miss out on future posts by following Seaside Book Nook.

Synopsis (from Amazon):

EMMA
I have exactly one rule these days: no more Fox men. After Ethan walked out and took my heart with him, I rebuilt my life around my town and family, and a firm no-falling-in-love policy.

Naturally, this is the moment he wants another chance.

He's steadier and gentler now, and his reason for leaving melts every wall I've built. I've spent my whole life taking care of everyone else. I never planned on a grumpy vintner making me want to risk everything.

ETHAN
I left Emma Sullivan to do right by someone who needed me, and it cost me the only woman I've ever loved. Now I'm home for good, and I'm done pretending I can live without her.

I came back a different man, ready to put my heart on the line and keep the promise I made. I'll earn her trust back one day at a time, even if I have to win over the whole town in the process.

And when her world is threatened, I'll prove that this time, I'm not going anywhere.

Made For Forever is the swoon-worthy finale of The Vineyard Next Door triology, a small-town, single dad, slow-burn romance with second chances, found family, and the happily-ever-after you've waited three books for.

One (or more) Sentence Summary:  Emma and Ethan's relationship continues through Book 3.  Ethan messed up and left town without communicating with her.  He is back, and is he guardian of an old friends little boy.

Emma is busy entertaining the CEO of a company looking to relocate and Foxridge is on the short list.

Things go sideways when the CEO is only interested in Emma and not Foxridge.  Ethan steps in and things go a little crazy.

Riley and Cole have a bigger story in Made For Forever and I just love how Riley grows up and Cole sticks by her.

Just loved all three books in the series.  I do recommend reading them in order!

Another great series by Michelle Major!

Too Much Temptation

~ I received no compensation and opinions are 100% my own or my family. ~

Never miss out on future posts by following Seaside Book Nook.

Synopsis (from Amazon):

EMMA

I'm finally building a life that's mine, and the last thing I have room for is Ethan Fox slipping back into it.

I trusted him because he made me believe I was finally someone's first choice. When he walked away like I was nothing, I swore I'd never let him that close again.

But he's still the only person who sees me as more than the dependable good girl who holds everyone together. Every day he stays, our connection is tougher to resist. Some temptations are worth the risk, but I'm terrified my heart won’t recover if he breaks it again.

ETHAN

I never should have let myself want Emma Sullivan and told myself walking away was the kindest thing I could do. I was wrong, and I've regretted it every day since. When she’s willing to give me another chance, I vow to spend the rest of my life being the man she deserves.

Then a call drags my past into the present, and I have to choose between the future I've finally claimed and someone who's running out of time. And whatever I decide, I lose something I can't get back.

Too Much Temptation is Book 2 of The Vineyard Next Door trilogy, a small-town, feuding-families romance with forbidden attraction, an aching slow burn, and a cliffhanger that will have you bingeing Book 3.

One (or more) Sentence Summary:   I just love that Emma and Ethan continue in book 2 of the  Vineyard Next Door series.  They continue to navigate their relationship and what they mean to each other while dealing with the mayor race and friends and family of Foxridge.

The town is split between Emma and Blake (mostly siding with Blake-Ethan's brother) and during a debate, Emma ends up blurting out why she walked out at the wedding, shocking everyone.  It does allow her to finally be rid of all the town talk.

Ethan is busy with the family business trying to amend the past and find his place.  He has lots of plans for the family vineyard now that his dad is gone.  Ethan and Blake don't see eye to eye on the future of the vineyard.

Another great read by Michelle Major.  I do highly recommend reading Book 1 firsts (Nothing But Trouble).

Nothing But Trouble

~ I received no compensation and opinions are 100% my own or my family. ~

Never miss out on future posts by following Seaside Book Nook.

Synopsis (from Amazon):

EMMA
Five minutes before saying I do, I walked out on my fiancé in front of the entire town.

Now everyone thinks I'm the villain of this story. Everyone except Ethan Fox.

Everyone's against me except Ethan Fox. My ex's bad-boy brother has looked straight through me since high school, but he's back to rebuild the vineyard he once burned down. He's trouble and temporary and the last man I have any business wanting.

So why is he the first to see past the good girl I've spent my whole life pretending to be? Because the longer he stays, the further I fall.

ETHAN
I only came home to settle a debt at my family’s vineyard. Falling for my brother's runaway bride was not part of the plan.

Emma Sullivan is adored in a town that can't stand the sight of me, while I’m the screwup who left and swore he'd never look back.

Only the more time I spend with her, the less I care, and the harder it gets to remember I came here to leave. But when disaster sends the past roaring back into our lives, I do the one thing I promised her I wouldn't.

Nothing But Trouble is Book 1 of The Vineyard Next Door trilogy, a forbidden, slow-burn, feuding-families romance that follows one unforgettable couple across three books.

One (or more) Sentence Summary: I just love Emma! We are first introduced to her running away from her wedding.....to Ethan's brother!  As Ethan arrives in town after being gone for years and spots Emma on the sidewalk and stops to help her.

Emma and Ethan's families have a long history in the small town.  Emma's family have always run the town and Emma is the current mayor.  Ethan's family own the local vineyard/winery. Both families support the town and community and the wedding was supposed to be the event of the century!

Emma appropriately leaves Blake at the church, but refuses to talk about it publicly.  Ethan (Blake's brother) is the black sheep of the family. He left town when he was a teen after his family vineyard had a fire that his dad blamed on him.  He is back to settle his debt.

We are introduced to Alex and Maya and I have a feeling there is a story brewing there.  Alex works for Ethan's family and Maya is Emma's best friend.  Also Emma's family is a big part of the story, especially her sister Riley.  She is struggling with school, work and fitting in. Their mother passed away several years ago and they had to rely on each other.

Like all Michelle Major's books  - I loved it!

The Overtime Persuasive: A Sweet Hockey RomCom (Alexandria Dominion Hockey Book 3)

~ I received no compensation and opinions are 100% my own or my family. ~

Never miss out on future posts by following Seaside Book Nook.

Synopsis (from Amazon):

She needed a business rescue. She got her best friend's infuriating twin brother instead.

Eva Barlow had a plan, and it did not include a hockey player.

She's spent years filing them under arrogant, loud, and best avoided—right alongside anyone whose life comes with glitter attached. But when an unexpected fine threatens to take down the Old Town shop she built with her own two hands, turning down help stops being an option.

Enter Liam Snyder: NHL defenseman, professional karaoke menace, exactly the kind of man who makes "just helping out" feel dangerous in all the wrong (right?) ways.

He's aggressively good-looking, annoyingly charming, and always somehow underfoot. He knows her numbers better than she does, and somehow his oversized, unmistakably hockey player presence makes the shop feel steadier than it has in months.

Something about the way he stays after closing makes it very hard to remember why she swore off this kind of complication in the first place.

This was supposed to be about spreadsheets.

Not feelings.

Definitely not roots.

One (or more) Sentence Summary:  I’m a sucker for sports romance books, but especially ones that involve hockey! 🏒❤️

The Overtime Persuasion was a great read! It’s a standalone book, so you don’t need to read books 1 and 2—but why wouldn’t you? 😉 It was also so much fun having the characters from the earlier books back in book 3.

I really loved how strong and independent Eva is, and I enjoyed watching her relationship with Liam grow from friendship into something more. Eva is working hard to get her books and vinyl store up and running, with her best friend Lucy by her side. But when Lucy—Liam’s twin sister—is called up to play for a women’s professional hockey team, Liam steps in to help Eva out.

Of course, Liam and Eva can’t deny the attraction between them. 🔥 Let the sparks fly!

I really enjoyed The Overtime Persuasion and can’t wait for Book 4! 🏒📚❤️
