Synopsis: Mid-life mom, Colleen Gallagher, would do anything to protect her children from harm. When her daugther’s husband falls ill with ALS, Colleen rolls up her sleeves and moves in, juggling the multiple roles of grandma, cook, and caregiver, only to discover that even her superhuman efforts can’t fix what’s wrong.
One (or more) Sentence Summary: I enjoyed Montpellier Tomorrow. If you have ever had to care for a family member with an illness, you could probably understand all the dynamics and emotions. I was completely SHOCKED by the ending (no spoiler alert here). Marylee did an amazing job capturing all the different reactions to an illness that family and friends go through.
Favorite Character(s): Colleen, she was so strong and handled everyones care before her own. This is exactly what my mother would have done as well. I would have had a hard time keeping my mouth shut, especially when it came to Tony's parents who had their heads buried in the sand.
