Synopsis (from Amazon): People say Beartown is finished. A tiny community nestled deep in the forest, it is slowly losing ground to the ever-encroaching trees. One (or more) Sentence Summary: A fan of Backman's novel. Last year I listened to Beartown on my drive from Ohio to New York for a hockey game! I really, really loved this book as I could relate to so much of it. Hockey has been son's life since he was five. He is starting his second year of junior hockey. A wonderful, wonderful book that is full of great characters. Absolutely loved it. Have recommended it to so many people
