One (or more) Sentence Summary:  An amazing story that really had me thinking and wondering...What if Jesus had a wife.  I think it is important to keep in mind Ana is not real and The Book of Longings is fictional.  I couldn't put this book down.  Ana is a remarkably strong woman.  Just like The Invention of Wings, this is a must-read story.  Brilliantly written.   

Would I Read Other Books by the Author:  I would love to read The Secret Life of Bees and The Mermaid Chair.  I LOVED The Invention of Wings.
