Synopsis (from Amazon):  She’s got a list to finish. He’s got a song to escape. Neither planned on falling in love this Christmas.

Stella Sparks has no time for love—not when her 30 Before 30 list is calling and her new job depends on reviving rockstar Rhys James’s image before he headlines Winter Lights Live.

The trouble? Rhys isn’t interested in playing America’s perfect popstar anymore, especially when his label insists he sing the cheesy Christmas hit he’s grown to hate. And Stella, who once had his poster taped to her teenage bedroom wall, is no longer swooning—she’s determined to keep things professional.

But when a snowstorm strands them in Stella’s hometown, Rhys discovers small-town magic, a chance to write his own story, and the one woman who sees him for who he really is. Too bad falling for him could cost Stella the career she’s fought for.

One (or more) Sentence Summary: This is my first Brittany Larsen book and it will not be my last.  I really enjoyed it.  Great story, quick read, fun characters, laugh out loud scenes with a 30 before 30 list!  Loved the Christmas, rockstar crush to romance, rooftop decorations, snow storm, and a Santa and town that real care about each other and make Christmas special for Stella every year.

Fa-La-La-La Land is book 3 of 3 in the Love in LA series.  Like me you do not have to read them in order.  Given this is my first read by Brittany Larsen, I will for sure be reading book 1 (Britta & The Beach Boy)and book 2 (Terms of Un-Endearment).  I also want to check out the Love in Paradise Valley (4 book series), Falling for Creekville (2 book series) and Creekville Kisses Too (2 book series).

Fa-La-La-La Land is the perfect book for this time of year.  It will get you in the Christimas spirit and a great escape for how crazy life can get this time of year.

Brittany Larsen is an Idaho girl who's spent the last twenty plus years in California raising daughters, reading just about anything, and writing--not necessarily in that order. Hot yoga is her happy/uncomfortable place. She loves a good romance, whether it's set in modern-day, nineteenth century England, or the Old West, as long as it's got a feisty heroine and makes her laugh and/or sigh.
